There’s something for everybody at The Cheesecake Factory, literally. With over 200 menu items, you could bring a group of fifty to the restaurant and each of you could order four different items without duplication. In fact, each of you could order a different dessert (THAT’S RIGHT…50 SELECTIONS OF DESSERT…but choose the red velvet cheesecake!!!). Every menu item is made fresh from scratch each day. There’s also a fabulous Sunday brunch from 10am-2pm.

With a menu that’s more than 15 pages, you’ll find something whether you’re in the mood for seafood, steaks, sandwiches, salads, pizza, Asian, or pasta.

Can’t decide between the salmon or the shrimp scampi or the Steak Diane or the Chicken Madeira? You don’t have to compromise…just select among the Factory Combinations which are $19.95 each (shrimp scampi & Steak Diane; Chicken Madeira & Steak Diane; Steak Diane & herb-crusted salmon; shrimp scampi & Chicken Madeira; herb-crusted-salmon & shrimp scampi).

The pastas (16 choices on menu) range in price from Pasta Marinara ($10.95) to Bistro Shrimp Pasta ($17.50). The pizzas (10 choices) range from $10.95 (cheese) to $12.95 (The Everything Pizza). The most expensive entrée on the menu is the Filet Mignon ($29.95). Among seafood selections, the most expensive is the Wasabi-crusted Ahi Tuna ($21.95). Sandwiches start at $7.95 (grilled cheese) and go up to $14.50 (crabcake sandwich). Salads range from $11.95 to $15.95 (I like the Asian chicken salad and the seared tuna tataki salad).

The Cheesecake Factory is very good about accommodating guests. In addition to large print menus, there are also Braille menus available. Because menu items are made fresh, they can modify your order for special health or dietary needs.

The portions are also large…don’t worry, the servers are used to handing out to-go boxes so you can have the leftovers the next day. Lunch specials are served daily until 5pm and those portions are generous, too. Honestly, I usually share my entrée (especially at night)…because it leaves more room for dessert. I’m not skipping dessert at this place!! If you feel guilty when counting calories, there’s a portion of the menu called “weight management salads” (Asian chicken salad, pear & endive salad, spicy chicken salad; each priced at $13.95).

Here are just a few examples of the 38 cheesecakes on the menu: Kahlua® Cocoa Coffee Cheesecake; Key Lime; Oreo; Dutch Apple Caramel Streusel; Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough; Reeses Peanut Butter Chocolate Cake, White Chocolate Caramel Macadamia Nut, Chocolate Tuxedo Cream, Vanilla Bean, Chocolate Mousse, Chocolate Raspberry Truffle (and many more).

My personal favorite cheesecake on their menu is Ultimate Red Velvet Cake Cheesecake, but Fresh Banana Cream is a close second. If you enjoy carrot cake, try it as a cheesecake (Craig’s Crazy Carrot Cake Cheesecake).

The dessert menu includes much more than cheesecake, including: tiramisu, fudge cake, warn apple crisp, limoncello crème torte, carrot cake, and chocolate tower truffle cake.

If you would like to overdose and go into a chocolate-induced coma, you could try the “Black Out Cake” or “Chris’ Outrageous Chocolate Cake” (A Cheesecake Factory Original – Layers of Moist Chocolate Cake, Chewy Brownie, Toasted Coconut-Pecan Frosting and Creamy Chocolate Chip Coconut Cheesecake).

If you want take-out, call ahead and they will do curbside delivery to your car. To place your take-out order, call (817) 465-2211. To view the full menu, click here: http://www.thecheesecakefactory.com/media/menus/TCF_Takeout_The_Parks.pdf

The Cheesecake Factory also caters. Check out their catering menu by clicking here (most pricing on the menu is based on servings for 6-to-8 people): http://www.thecheesecakefactory.com/media/menus/catering/TCF_CAT_FEB_11_WEB.PDF

Location: The Parks Mall (west side, facing S. Cooper Street; between Barnes & Noble and Dillard’s). The physical address is 3811 S. Cooper Street, just one block north of I-20 (northeast corner of intersection of S. Cooper at I-20).
